The Founders
Pat & Carmen Adams
PAT has been a student of architecture since his teenage years. That early passion shaped a keen eye for proper massing and scale—and a discerning sense of what is timeless versus merely trendy. His ability to sketch freehand elevations and floor plan concepts allows clients to visualize a project well before drafting begins. Since 1999, Pat has built deep, hands-on experience in residential design, custom home building, project management, contracts, marketing, sales, and business development.

CARMEN was “home edit” before there was Home Edit. Her intuitive understanding of how a house—and a home—should function and feel, pairs perfectly with Pat’s ability to design and build exceptional form. Carmen oversees the operational side of Resort & Ranch, managing client communication, scheduling, and progress tracking, while regularly performing a “home edit” on Pat’s creative mind.

Resort & Ranch combines architectural integrity, hands-on construction experience, and private-equity experience across luxury residences, ranch assets, and global second-home portfolios.
